Recently, my friend competed in a makeup competition for the Algonquin College Esthetics program. I love theatrical makeup so I jumped at the chance to model for her. We didn’t win but I think our Avatar-esque inspired look turned out really cool.

A friend sent me a link to the Algonquin College Photography program information page and I found they were using my ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ as a header image. This seems to be one of my most famous images and I have to admit it’s pretty cool to see it being displayed throughout the website.
A great night to celebrate photography and hard work, a good excuse to get out of the house on a Monday night and a party not worth missing! Hope to see you all there!
The finished Vogue Hommes Japan cover by Algonquin College Photography student, Amanda Cava. Keep your fingers crossed she wins the award for ‘Best Magazine Cover’ at this year’s photography exhibition.
